A public relations consultant since 2000, James has created and managed successful marketing and public relations programs for clients through his boutique practice. James has won media relations and client service awards at both Edelman and Neale-May & Partners, where he was one of the top media relations executives for both agencies.
During his career he has also worked as a producer for television and radio news covering the high-tech market, including the nationally syndicated NPR radio news show - Technically Speaking with John C. Dvorak. James began his public relations career as Marketing Communications Manager for the Los Angeles based computer wholesaler, Advanced Products Technology (APTechnology). While with APTechnology he managed a very successful marketing and public relations campaign, obtaining media interest and story placements with Los Angeles press, as well as new business and sales for the Los Angeles based start-up.
James is a supporter of many non-profit organizations including Make-a-Wish Foundation, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, MS Society of America, Defenders of Wildlife, World Wildlife Fund, Animal Rescues/Shelters, Special Olympics, Starlight Children's Foundation, and more.
